Kids’ Body-Image

Different from the mental health trainings I offer, my workshops are created on mental health topics of interest to the general public. These workshops are meant to equip attendees with practical knowledge and tools to improve personal well-being. Each workshop comes with full-colour, customized resources and involves interactive activities and learning.

There are a lot of things out there influencing how our children see and understand their bodies. Poor body-image can be the root of low self-esteem, shame, disordered eating, and many other struggles they may face. Although we cannot protect them from every negative influence, we can teach them how to be more self-compassionate, show them how to value their bodies in new ways, and give them a better chance of recovery if they do experience poor body-image or an eating disorder.
